7 Secrets to Amazing Energy Every Day

img_3788

I seem to have the same or better energy levels than I did 30 years ago and I am now 54. I often wonder how this can be as I am numerically 30 years older. I often wonder how this is possible as I age and also wonder if this will keep continuing into the future. I hear people talk about periods in the day where their energy levels drop however I don’t seem to experience this at all.  I work hard every day(and most nights) and also workout(excercise) every day all with high energy levels. I seem to have an abundance of energy all day long.

I actually have to tell myself to go to bed at night as I really don’t feel tired. Having said that, I typically sleep well and wake up feeling rested and ready to go again.

I think there are many reasons for my abundance of energy but I wanted to share what I think are my 7 keys to my high energy levels in the hope that it helps you. Here they are:

1.The Morning Shake –  I have talked about this in prior blogs and I believe this is the single most important thing that provides me with energy(See prior blog: http://kevinbradyhealth.ca/the-morning-shake/). I feel that it gives me amazing long lasting energy as it fills my body with amazing nutrients that last all day long.

2.My Morning Regimen – I have commented in previous blogs about the routine I try to go through every morning. I believe that this is a great start to the day and puts me in a great headspace to tackle the day. 3.My Nightly Routine – I feel that my nightly routine helps me sleep well which then provides me with the energy I need for the next day. Research continually shows that lack of sleep or poor sleep results in low energy levels the following day. Therefore it is imperative that we have a good sleep in order to have the energy we need the following day. 4.Excercise – It  has been proven that daily exercise increases our energy levels. Every time I exercise I feel so much better both mentally and physically. This is because every time we exercise we fill our body and cells with oxygen and also we generate new cells. The primary reason we age is that our cells  age and die off. It makes sense to me that the best way to combat old age is through exercise. I try to work out every day and about once per week I do a “two a day” meaning I work out twice. To read more, read my previous blog – Exercise – The Fountain Of Youth: http://kevinbradyhealth.ca/exercise-the-fountain-of-youth/

5.Positive Attitude – We have all heard the saying “ Is the glass half full or half empty?” For some reason, I always seem to look at things in a positive light. Even when very negative things have happened in my life, I always seem to find the silver lining and to this day I am not sure if this was an ingrained skill or something I have developed over time. In any event, we have 2 ways to react to any situation and this is either positively or the negatively. I choose to find the positive lining and I hope that you do as well

6.Eat Live Foods– As you know, I eat mostly plant based, whole,  unprocessed foods which I believe is a key reason for my high energy levels. I try to eat “live” plant based foods from the earth as much as possible as it provides energy all day long. By eating “ live” foods instead of “ dead” foods it gives my system and me and abundance of life all day long. By plant based whole foods, I mean an abundance of fresh organic fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds and limit my meat intake. As you know from previous blogs, I try to live by this 80% of the time so it is not crazy restricting on me and my food intake.

I would encourage you to take on a few or all of these suggestions in your personal quest towards better health.

Yours in great health, Kev
